“People are getting very excited,” said Mati Greenspan, founder of Tel Aviv based research firm Quantum Economics. Hopes grew that China would remove the bitcoin ban imposed two years ago and allow exchanges to operate, which would have led to “huge volumes” for trading in cryptocurrency, he said.

“Ethereum tokenomics are far more complex than that of Bitcoin,” said Mati Greenspan, founder of Quantum Economics. “Since the Ethereum blockchain has run into scalability issues on the technical side, that has prevented it from growing too much further. They are working hard to sort that out but until they do, we can only speculate as to the future value.”

“Buffett made his billions in a world that doesn’t exist anymore,” Mati Greenspan, the founder of bitcoin and cryptocurrency analysis outfit Quantum Economics, wrote in a note.

“Whoever the oracle of the next generation will be, my feeling is that they’ll have a much keener understanding of emerging technology and will be less reliant on baseless fiat money.”

Quantum Economics, a money management and advisory company founded by former eToro senior analyst Mati Greenspan, has officially launched.

Mati Greenspan, the financial-markets analyst who stepped down last month from crypto-friendly trading platform eToro to start his own research and consulting firm, plans to offer training videos on trading bitcoin and other digital assets through the website Cointelligence.

“There are literally a hundred reasons to be bullish on crypto at the moment,” said Mati Greenspan, founder of Quantum Economics.

“One aspect that I’ve been watching particularly is the affect of central bank action on the markets,” he clarified.

Mati Greenspan, founder of Quantum Economics, which specializes in cryptocurrencies and foreign exchange, emailed clients a chart from the data provider CoinMetrics showing the correlation between bitcoin and gold – accepted by most investors as a traditional hedge against inflation –   had recently swung from negative to positive.
